Lenovo unveils new ThinkPads on Intel and AMD platforms

Lenovo has expanded its ThinkPad range of notebook computers with three new devices. We are talking about a productive ThinkPad X1 Extreme laptop based on 11th generation Intel Core chips (Tiger Lake-H), as well as ThinkPad L13 and ThinkPad L13 Yoga with AMD Ryzen 5000 series processors. All of them will be available for purchase at the end of summer.

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme is equipped with a 16-inch display with a resolution of 3840 x 2400 pixels and a brightness of 600 cd / m². In the top-end configuration, its “filling” is represented by an 8-core Intel Core i9 processor, 64 gigabytes of DDR4-3200 RAM, two NVMe drives with a capacity of 2 TB, and discrete graphics GeForce RTX 3080 16GB.

The laptop is equipped with a 90 Wh battery, which provides up to 10 hours of battery life, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, and a Wi-Fi 6E / Bluetooth 5.2 wireless module. The ThinkPad X1 Extreme measures 359.5 x 253.8 x 17.7 mm and weighs 1.8 kg. Windows 10 Pro acts as a standard operating system. The MSRP starts at $ 2,149.

When it comes to the ThinkPad L13 and the ThinkPad L13 Yoga, the main difference between them comes down to the 360-degree opening of the Yoga model. Both new products received 13.3-inch touchscreens with Full HD resolution and are equipped with Ryzen Pro 5000 hybrid chips (up to 8-core APUs). The dimensions of the new products are 311.5 x 219 x 17.6 mm, and the weight is about 1.4 kg.

The maximum configuration includes 16 GB of DDR4-3200 RAM and a terabyte NVMe drive. The battery capacity is 46 Wh, laptops can work more than 10 hours on a single charge. The new Lenovo ThinkPad L13 will start at $ 799, while the ThinkPad L13 Yoga will start at $ 999.
