Samsung has updated its line of Odyssey gaming monitors

Samsung Electronics has expanded its Odyssey range of gaming monitors. Soon, new models of the G3, G5, and G7 classes with a diagonal from 24 to 28 inches will enter the market. The manufacturer, unfortunately, has not yet disclosed the recommended prices for the displays.

Samsung Odyssey G7 (G70A) is based on a 28-inch IPS panel with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. The advantages of this monitor include support for FreeSync Premium Pro technology, 1ms response time (from gray to gray), VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification, and HDMI 2.1 port. The vendor also notes that the display meets the G-Sync Compatible requirements.

The Samsung Odyssey G5 (G50A) uses a 27-inch IPS panel. It is characterized by a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, a refresh rate of 165 Hz, a response time of 1 ms (from gray to gray), and support for FreeSync Premium, including G-Sync Compatible. To connect to the source of the picture, you can use the HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2 interfaces.

The Samsung Odyssey G3 (G30A) monitor will be offered in versions with 24- and 27-inch VA matrices. In both cases, the resolution is 1920 x 1080 pixels, the refresh rate reaches 144 Hz, and the response time is 1 ms (according to the MPRT method). Not without support for FreeSync Premium, however, the display did not pass the G-Sync Compatible certification. The set of video inputs is represented by HDMI 1.4 and DisplayPort 1.2 ports.
