It’s funny – Intel has not yet officially introduced its next-generation Comet Lake-S processors, and they can already be bought in the online store. True, at the time of writing the news is no longer possible, but the Internet remembers everything.
One Taobao seller has posted an announcement about the sale of engineering samples of Intel Comet Lake-S processors, such as the Core i5-10400, i5-10500, i5-10600K, i9-10900 and i9-10900K.
All models that do not have an “K” index in the name indicating an unlocked multiplier have a TDP of 65 watts, while those with this multiplier boast increased frequencies and a TDP of 125 watts.
Processors Intel Comet Lake-S, which was offered by the seller, were sent to manufacturers of motherboards and finished computers for internal testing. Sometimes such processors after testing end up in all the Chinese stores we know, but not in such numbers.
It turns out that a full-fledged announcement of Intel Comet Lake-S processors is just around the corner, even if sellers from the Middle Kingdom offer to buy these processors from them. It’s interesting, but how to use them if motherboards are not yet in stores for them?
